brud
Hopefully I have not made a wrong assumption. I use primarily MAC's at home and Win machines at work. I know this is a real pain but that is life. My goal is to backup my personal information at work to a Fortress (4tress.com) 60gb drive. This already works and I have the files on the portable drive mounted on my mac. Next I would would like to open the catalog or rebuild the catalog on the mac. After that is complete I would like to transfer the the backup to CD's via a CDR on the MAC. I would like to know if anyone has been able to get mac and win backup sets to work together. I am running Retrospect versions: win 6.5 and MAC 5.0.

The Macintosh and Windows file formats are not cross-compatible. You could, however, Duplicate the files to the portable drive on the PC and Backup that data to CD-R with Retrospect on the Mac. brud
By duplicate do you mean in retrospect or other third party tool?
AmyJ
Retrospect can duplicate the files under Immediate > Duplicate.
