Marco Posted April 30, 2003 Report Share Posted April 30, 2003 Hello everybody, this is my first time in this forum and i start with this question: i'm administering the backup server of a businnes with Retrospect 6.0 multiserver and it was asked me if it's possible for Retrospect to send a confrmation e-mail to the staff chief for every successful backup and also for every problem in the execution of the backup script without interrupting the execution of the script. I've set the execution of the backup script during the night with the "quit" option at the end of the task, so the request is to recive every morning a mail that reports the " Backup ran successfully on dd/mm/yy hh.mm " or the " Backup run on dd/mm/yy hh.mmm with n problems " messages.
