mrmike
Hi - I am having trouble with one of my users' Retrospect Clients. The machine has not been backing up like the other clients, and is behaving very oddly. Particularly, once it is accessed by the backup server, it obtains and holds onto a tremendous amount of resources (e.g., CPU time, disk access). It also won't close the connection once it has been opened. On the server side, I get messages like "Closing" and "Retrying." At some point, after several minutes, the server stops trying to close the connection, but it cannot access the client again due to a 517-Client Busy error. I've already tried re-installing the client once. Any ideas on what I can do to solve the problem?
dsparkscol
We are experiencing the same with 5 of our WIN Clients. I am new to this forum. Have you gotten any replies? If so, how can I see them?
AmyJ
Troubleshooting this error uses the same steps as troubleshooting error 519. See the following link for details on how to troubleshoot the client machine(s): http://www.dantz.com/index.php3?SCREEN=kbase&ACTION=KBASE&id=26640
