dgiffin Posted April 28, 2003 Report Share Posted April 28, 2003 I haven't heard anything about the Error -43 being fixed (nothing from the newsletter I subscribed to: http://list.dantz.com/mailman/listinfo/unicode_support) so do I assume that it's still an outstanding issue? In my case it's prevented me from implementing Retrospect for backups (I'm looking at BRU as an alternative - do I want to change my backup solution, no, do I need to backup, yes!) and it's like being back in the days of Mac OS X 1 when the only backup solution was from OmniGroup :-( I have 2 Mac OS X Servers and can backup some subvolumes from one machine but not others (specifically I can backup Applications but not home directories), I get -43 while scanning the remote machine.
