aKamaliGroup
Running MultiServer 6.0 on Dell PowerEdge 2550 with internal Raid 5 disk subsystem and DLT tape drive. Windows 2000 Server with Service Pack 2 plus all the available critical and security updates are installed. Successfully created Disaster Recovery CD for system using Windows 2000 Server system CD and latest backup set. Successfully booted off recovery CD while testing it. However, Windows 2000 Setup failed due to "nperc2.sys could not be found." This indicates to me that the Disaster Recovery wizard did not create a complete CD image for the server. Is this a known reported problem? Is there a work-around for this issue? Should I be sending these questions to Dantz tech support? Holding off installing a hot-spare drive until I can verify the disaster recovery CD and procedure will work *before* I need it. Thanks-in-advance for any suggestions. -Dave

aKamaliGroup
Thanks, I'll give the procedure in the article a try during my next sys-admin period. I guess I wasn't using the right set of keywords (e.g., RAID, raid, etc.) for this article to pop up when I was searching the Knowledgebase.
