The files have never backed up during automated backups. Are there any known solutions for these types of files? Any help would be greatly appreciated. It is not possible to back it up while it is open (locked). Odds are that you can't copy the file in Windows either. While Retrospect can backup most open files, there are exceptions - such as database files. The general (but not absolute) rule is that if Windows can't copy the file while it's open, Retrospect will not be able to either. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
