macktez
Using a G4-MDD 1GHz (current low end) running 10.2.5, booted off dual 60GB drives in RAID1 config. Running Retro 5 Desktop with latest RDU. When I load a tape, and go to Configure>Devices I can erase, rename and eject the tape. However, when I go to either initiate a backup, or to check the media for a pending script, I get an error that no media was found. Go back to Configure devices and sure enough there it is. Anyone have any suggestions?

What is the exact error message? The most likely scenario is not that Retrospect is not seeing any media at all, but that the media you currently have inserted is not the correct tape that Retrospect is looking for.
