KV_Systems Posted April 17, 2003 Report Share Posted April 17, 2003 I've been fooling with Express Server 5.6 for a few weeks. I just want simple backups - a full backup each night Mon-Fri. If the customer forgets to put the tape in, I want to backup to overwrite the tape that's in the drive already from 2 backups ago. Is this scenario possible with this product? AmyJ Posted April 17, 2003 Report Share Posted April 17, 2003 It's not possible to overwrite any tape in the drive. With Retrospect, you must schedule the backup set you'll be using on a given day. To set up a full backup nightly, following the below tutorial. When setting schedules, change the action from Normal to Recycle.
