Mikee
It all begun when I need to change the password on the client computer. The only way known to me is to reinstall the client and provide new password during installation. That worked for computers that are running W98, WME, WNT, W2k, WXP, but it failed every time on Windows 95 machines. When i try to uninstall or reinstall Retrospect Client on Windows 95 machine I get the following choices: Continue update Stay with current Exit install I do not get the Uninstall option . 1) Is there any other way to change client password ( server is not able to connect to this client so it cannot be done from the server) like registry etc. 2) How to uninstall Retrospect Client from W95 computer? Mikee
I should also say that the problem I experience is with latest 6.0 client from Dec 23'02 that was installed fresh (no previous versions of the client was installed prior to the installation). AmyJ
Do you see the client listed under Add/Remove programs? It's been a while since I've looked at Win95 and don't recall if Add/Remove was available. What happens if you choose: Continue update. Are you then able to uninstall?
