sclark
Our company is comprised mostly of laptops so the proactive backup option was worth its weight in gold. The problem being that in the Proactive backup status window it only lists the source name and not the client name. So now I have about thirty Macintosh HD references but no clue as too which one. I doubt it would that difficult to add the client name in the list as well but it would be extremely helpful!
AmyJ
Try adding the client as a whole, rather then the individual drives on the client to your script. This will allow you to see which client is being backed up. If you don't want to backup all volumes on a client, you can go Configure > Clients. Get Properties on a client and go to the Volumes tab. Change the drop down box to selected volumes and highlight only the volumes you wish to include for backup. The will allow you to select the client machine as a source -- and still only backup certain volumes on that client machine.
