thurley
I have created a backup script to backup a local directory and several directories on my server. When I run the script manually, it works fine. But when the script is launched by the scheduler for automatic backup, some, but not all, of the subvolumes on the server are not backed up. I was getting an "insufficient permissions" error message before, but I fixed that using the fix suggested in the Knowledge Base. However, that apparently wasn't the problem, since some of the subvolumes are still being skipped when the script is automatically launched. I even reinstalled Retrospect Express 5.6 to no avail. And I recreated the script thinking that might help, but no deal. I'm flummoxed and would appreciate any suggestions anyone might have on how to fix this problem. For me, automatic backup is a must. AmyJ
If the volumes are listed in your script, and are not getting backed up, then there should be error information listed in the Operations Log. What information is provided? That the volumes are being skipped is not enough information to go on.
