wgbrothers Posted April 2, 2003 Report Share Posted April 2, 2003 I have an Overland LoaderXpress LXL1U11 LTO library connected to my Dell server via an Adpatec 29160. The server is running Windows 2000 server SP3, and I am currently running the multi-server trial. When I launch Retrospect, I can load any tape from any slot to the drive and erase the tape. However any command beyond that point, such as returning the tape to the slot or erasing another tape Retrospect says it's peforming a function, however nothing happens with the library. I've updated the driver for the adpatec controller, and I've made sure the library is running the 1.25 firmware needed by Retrospect. Any ideas on why Retrospect won't properly control the library?
