weesh
Just (successfully) switched from SCSI tape drive to OnStream Echo 30G FW. Did a test backup overnight and was surprised Retrospect asked for a new tape after 9GB. I've turned off software compression, what else to try? I'm using v4.3 on 9.2.2 on a 350Mhz G4 desktop. Thanks! ->Ken
akkornel
As far as I'm aware (since I own one), the Onstream Echo FW30 doesn't have built-in compression capabilities. I use software compression, which gets me at leat 13.5 G on a tape. Maybe you should try that. Good luck!
