xian
I am attempting to backup a shared volume that is mounted on the desktop. I am using Retrospect Desktop 5 running on OS X 10.2.4. The folders on the target volume are visible when I access them directly from the desktop, but when I attempt to automate a script and choose the source, and choose subvolume and open, the folder appears empty. If I attempt a backup, it shows up as having 0 files even though I can see all the folders and files from the desktop. I logged on to the shared volume as a user with full permissions. I'm not sure why these folders and files are not visible when accessing the volume as a source while creating a script.
tslarkin
Try ejecting the Windows volumes from the Desktop; then let Retrospect mount them using the provided password. After I did this, Retrospect detected all files and folders; however the volumes showed up as empty in the Finder.
