mwt16 Posted March 14, 2003 Report Share Posted March 14, 2003 I have a Win 2k client backing up to a tape drive on a Win 2k server. The backup works fine, but after backup, the client sees some strange behavior. Email attachments saved to the desktop are no longer visible, but if you try to resave it, windows said the attachment was on the desktop. After rebooting, the attachment was there again. A similar thing has happened with a folder saved on the desktop. Any help with what might be causing this would be greatly appreciated. AmyJ Posted March 19, 2003 Report Share Posted March 19, 2003 I would check the drive with ScanDisk and with a disk utility to check the health of the system.
