ehitek
Hello: I'm using Retrospect 6 Pro on Windows XP Pro machine. If backup fails (which happens quite often if I do backup across the home network), I cannot shutdown Retrospect anymore, I have to restart my computer. Even if I try to shutdown the program using the Task Manager it doesn't work. Is there any solution for this? I would appreciate your help. Thank you. AmyJ
What kind of device are you backing up to? What kind of failures? Are there any error messages? What other information can you provide about your configuration and these "failures"
ehitek
I'm backing up to the file on my hard drive. The failure is not in issue, sometimes backup fails when I try to backup files from another computer on my network and I have a problem with network connection. These failures occur not because of Retrospect. The problem is that after this happens I cannot shut down or restart Retrospect without restarting my PC. Thanks, Peter
