Recovering Outlook Express

I just went through a Disaster Recovery (XP and Restrospect 6.0) last weekend. Most everything went fine with a couple of exceptions. One issue is that my Outlook Express accounts (and thus my email folders) were not restored (that I can see). How do I properly restore Outlook Express? I am sure it is on my full, as the only thing I exclude are .tmp files.

Can you be more specific about what's not working? Are you getting errors? Does Outlook Expres not open at all? Can you use File > Import to access the mail files? Did you restore to the same computer? Are you logging in with the same user name as you did before the restore?

On WindowsXP, the OE user files, including *.wab and *.dbx files, are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Explorer, you must enable Show Hidden Files and Folders under Start > Control Panel > Folder Options > View.
