freddy2s Posted March 2, 2003 Report Share Posted March 2, 2003 hi guys, new user here. i have just installed my external HDD and it is working fine. however, am i supposed to turn it off when i turn my computer off? if so, what is the correct way to do this? i'm running windows 98 and as far as i can tell i'm supposed to click the "safely remove" function and then unplug the drive from the power supply? is there an easier way of doing this? cheers freddy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
