BikeBoy
Just wondering if there's any way to just pick individual files for backup, not folders. Every time I want to back up something ad-hoc, I need to create a foler for it on the client, otherwise it isn't visible in subvolumes. Thanks for the tips! mcswgn
When you do an immediate backup, select the whole disk as the source volume and then click Preview in the "Immediate Backup" window. This will show you a list of all the files on the disk. Start by Unmarking all files, then navigate to the file (or files) you want backed up. Select (shift click for more than one) and click Mark. Close the Preview window and click Backup.

jamesiporter
Can you do this for scheduled backups in Desktop?
mcswgn
You would need to design a selector that will pick the files you want first, then set the script that does the backup to use this selector.
