a_riot Posted February 20, 2003 Report Share Posted February 20, 2003 Hi, I have been using Retrospect 5.0.201 on Mac OS X Server 10.2.3 and am having a problem when Retrospect ask me to insert a new DVD-RAM. Previously I inserted a DVD and everything was hunky dory. Now I insert a new DVD and I get an "erasing..." dialog and the DVD icon on the desktop promptly disappears and after a couple of minutes I get this error: Couldn't erase disk, Error 205 (lost access to storage medium) What is strange is that in the Retrospect window that prompts for new media it says that the disk is erased. Any suggestions? This seems to be happening ever since upgrading to 10.2 Server. My apologies if this has been asked and answered. Paul Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Actually I think it worked in 10.2 but broke in 10.2.1 or 10.2.2 (can't remember which). In any case, it's broken now.
