Exabyte 210 and Retrospect 5.0 running on OSx

Recommended Posts

I'm running OSx Ver 10.2.3 on a G4.

Backup software Retrospect 5.0 Server version.

Exabyte 210 scsi connection.

scsi card in G4 is 2930cu

The Retrospect software sees the backup unit

but will not see it as a library.

I can only see one tape and not the rest.

In Retrospect the software does not switch from

"Eject" to "loader" like it says in the book.

Any suggestions?

This was working on the 9.22 side.

What's the pin configuration on the Exabyte 210? 50-pin? 68-pin?

While in Retrospect, go to Configure > Devices > Device Status and list Vendor, Product and Version for your drive and loader.

Go to the Apple System Profiler - is the library and the drive seen here?
