penguin77
I recently bought the maxtor 80 gog external hard drive to store music and videos. As the 20 gig hard drive on my toshiba laptop is over half full, and this is my entertainment while traveling, A larger hard drive seemed the best option. All I want to do is move some files to it to free up space. I'm not familiar with all the terminology so any help with directions would be appreciated. It seems I need to "archive", and I have experimented with a file already...it went to another file on "c", not "e". If this is too far beyond my abilities, I understand, it just seems like it should be somewhat easy, and I have missed the "point". Any help? penguin77
I think I understand what the tutorial says. What I had in mind was only moving some select folders to the external hard drive, not the complete "c" drive
