Can't connect to client

I'm having trouble connecting to a client I just upgraded from OS 9.x to Jaguar. The initial login worked fine, but when I try to configure the client it apparently can't connect. Whenever I go to Client Configuration and click on the Configure or volumes tabs, the gears start spinning and a few seconds later a window pops up saying "Net Retry".

 

I've used Apple file sharing to connect to the client, so I know it's connected properly to the network. I'm using the most updated versions of the software, I believe (v5.0.238 on the server, v5.0.540 on the client). The client software is activated and acknowledged the initial login.

 

Anybody have ideas what the problem might be?
