civan93 Posted February 5, 2003 Report Share Posted February 5, 2003 I have a G4 Server running OSX Server 10.2.x. I have an adaptec 29160N with drive 1.2. I have been trying to attach my HP SureStore Dat40 to my machine...but here's the catch...I have it mounted in an external drive enclosure. I have it connected to the external connector on the 2160N card, and I can see it in apple system profiler on scsi-id-3 but it does not show up in the device list for Retrospect. Any ideas on how I could make this confguration work? Buying a new external firewire tape dive, though the best answer, will no work in this situation.
