shaun
Hello, I had a question about my new 48X CD-RW Drive on my windows 98 computer. I recently upgraded to Retrospect 6 Pro. I saw that the drive was compatable with the program, but I didn't realize until using it that it is only compatable with CD-RW's. Is there any way to configure it to CD-R's.. or am I doing something wrong. For now i can backup using CD-RW's... but i figure the process will go a lot faster with cd-r's (plus i already have a spindle of cd-r's). If it can't be configured to use CD-R's.. can you find out if there any plans on future updates that will fix this.. or if there is a way to manually set it to write to a CD-R. Thank you in advance for any help. Sincerely, Shaun PS> feel free to send me an email if you have a solution for me.

Unless the Hardware Search Engine explicitly says otherwise, CD-R and CD-RW media will work with a supported drive. I'm not aware of any drives that support RW but not R.
