docfxit
Hi, I created a script that includes the current C: drive and two other clients. When I try to run the script it gives me an error saying "Volume not available" for the current C: drive. I have tried: 1. Selecting the scrip 2. Removing all the sources. 3. Adding the current C: drive. 4. Adding the two clients. 5. Selecting Ok. 6. Saving the script. 7. Running the scrip. 8. I get the error "Volume not available" for the current C: drive. If I select ok on the error it continues to backup the other two clients. How can I fix that? I'm running 6.0 in XP Pro to a USB hard drive. Thank you, Gary
docfxit
Hi, I have a customer I am trying to impress with the great functions of Retrospect. This error is causing me not to show them a backup. It's hard to impress when I can't make a backup with Retrospect. Please either try to answer this question or try to give me a clue as to what to display/try so I can make a backup. Thank you, Gary PS: Is there a new way to get all replies sent to my email address so I will know when a reply is entered?
AmyJ
What happens if you try an Immediate backup of the C: drive through Backup > Backup? Do you get the same error? When you go to Configure > Volumes, do you see two C: drives listed? One that is greyed out and one that is not? If so, highlight the greyed out version and click the red X to get rid of it. Is there more then one script configured to backup these volumes? Make sure you're editing all scripts.
