Restrospect 5.0.238...OS X 10.2.3 wont retreive

Recommended Posts

I have a G4 (Mirror) Dual 1ghz with 10.2.3

my Tape drive is a Lacie AIT 1 35/70GB

and my card is a Adaptec SCSI 39160 driver 1.2

Restrospect 5.0.238

I try to retreive some date from the tape (like 8.4GB) and it retreives only 1835k and there's no error in the log. If I try to retreive some other thing it retreives only 1835k.

Is there a solution

And then what happens? Does it say Execution Completed Sucessfully? Does it hang?

What does the log say? When setting up the restore, you can click Files Chosen to get a summary of how much data you've selected to restore - what are the numbers?

What steps are you taking to set up the restore? Where do you get the 8.4 gig number from? The restore summary? Size of backup set?

Do other backup sets produce the same behavior?
