nas
Hi, I'm not very familiar with this program but at least I've been able to back-up all my files a few times using Retrospect Express v5.x. The question I have is whether or not I can write over these same CD's (CDRW)? The next itme I do a new full back-up, I'd like to reuse my older CDRW discs that have old backed up files on them. Will the program automatically erase each CDRW disc before it begins backing up? Thank you.
AmyJ
Yes - you can reuse the discs within Retrospect. In order to do so, you'll need to either Recycle the backup set these discs belong to (Configure > Backup Sets > Properites > Options > Action > Recycle) or "Forget" the backup set they belong to (Configure > Backup Sets). Retrospet will not let you reuse a piece of media that 'belongs' to an exisiting backup set - hence why the above options are necessary (to recycle or forget the set).
