dstranathan Posted January 22, 2003 Report Share Posted January 22, 2003 I noticed in my Retrospect 5.0 Preferences panel, under the "OS X..." sub-panel, that there is an optional checkbox for a "Privileges Warning" (if a client has a drive/volume is set with "ignore privileges"). AmyJ Posted January 22, 2003 Report Share Posted January 22, 2003 To control access to disks, folders, and files, you can set access privileges. You can set the privileges for the owner of the item, a group, and everyone who has access to your computer. If you select the checkbox for "Ignore privileges on this volume" in the Show Info window for a volume, no permissions are copied.
