tobyblake
Hi there, I've posted this before but thought I'd try again. Can anyone tell me what permissions a file under Windows XP needs to have before Retrospect can back it up? We've been seeing thousands of access denied (-24007) errors on an XP machine, which have been cured by the user making all files world-readable, which is somewhat of a sledgehammer solution. I'd like to know exactly what file permissions retrospect needs. The client was installed as Administrator, by the way. AmyJ
Make sure that all files have the security permissions set to allow read access or higher to administrators.
