Mike_OBrien Posted January 15, 2003 Report Share Posted January 15, 2003 I'm running Retrospect Client 5.0.540 on a Mac OS X Server running OS 10.2.3. All of a sudden the Retrospect server said the client was "engaged", so I tried changing the name of the client system. I changed the computer name in the "File Sharing" preferences pane but nothing I did made the Retrospect client pick up the new host name. I deinstalled and reinstalled the client, got rid of the retroclient.state file, nothing. It insisted on showing the "Client Name" as the old name, not the new one.
