Changed files during backup OS X

Running Retrospect 5 from my OS X 10.2.3 , duplicating to a folder on another partition, I get this error message

File “com.apple.desktop.plist”: different data size (src: 2630, dest: 2608), path: “Mac OS X/Users/steve/Library/Preferences/com.apple.desktop.plist”.

 

1/7/2003 4:44:15 PM: 5 execution errors.

 

Completed: 101596 files, 3.4 GB

 

 

 

Did these files copy and is this a problem?

Yes they copied, since there is a Source ("src") and Destination ("dest") version of each.

 

 

 

No, it's not a problem. It's normal for any or all of these files to change during the time that Retrospect was running. That's what a multi-talking operating sytem is all about.
