Retrospect cannot see desktop volumes

Recommended Posts

I am running Retrospect 5.0.238 with driver update 3.2 on a Dual processor PowerMac 867. The drive I am using is a LaCie Firewire DVD-RAM/DVD-R combo drive. I do a backup to removable media, and it writes the first volume just fine, but when I eject the disk and put in another volume, Retrospect does not see the new volume. The new volume does show up on the desktop, it is HFS+ format, it is writeable, and the device status window in Retrospect only shows it's ID (FireWire-A) and no other information.

Does anyone know how to make Retrospect see a volume that is mounted on the desktop? Does anyone have any other advice?
