Guest Posted March 28, 2002 Report Share Posted March 28, 2002 I just bought a XP Pro laptop and installed the 5.6 retrospect client for PC. Retrospect has no trouble seeing the client. But backups always fail due to lost network connection and have lots of network errors: necoIncomming: unowned packet, tid 4 PitonPacket::netimport, unkown Piton packet type 0 can't initialize source, error -519 (network communication failed) My lan (100mbs, client for MS networks, file and printer sharing, QoS Packet Scheduler, tcp/ip) is otherwise very reliable. The server is NT SBS 4.5/SP6 I have no trouble backing up a NT workstation client on the same network/hub. Any ideas what the problem is?
