sparkdesign
Mac OS 9.0 Installing Retrospect Client 4.2A Error received on startup everytime now: The application Shareway IP Personal Bgnd could not be opened because OTInetClientLib could not be found. When I open the retrospect control panel it tells me the network is closed. Any ideas?
AmyJ
The 4.2 client is only a control panel - it has no control over your network settings, and does not have the ability to make changes. Think of it like a telephone - the telephone _uses_ the phone line, but doesn't have any control over whether or not the line is functioning correctly. The client control panel works the same way. With a little network troubleshooting, maybe a clean system install, you should be able to isolate the cause of the problem.
sparkdesign
I understand that. The network was never in question, just the fact that retrospect client was giving that error after installing. I downloaded and installed client 4.3 and that works fine. Thanks -Tom
