cma6j Posted January 3, 2003 Report Share Posted January 3, 2003 I have Retrospect 5.6 that comes with the Maxtor Personal Backup. I have read through the Dantz CD manual but there are conflicting instructions on how to create incremental backups (just files that have changed.) I have been able to press the OneTouch button and complete a full backup, but cannot create incremental backups in a systematic manner. Dantz no longer provides tech support directly by email, so I was wondering if any users have been able to figure out how to create incremental backups or even if it is possible. The One-Touch button on the Maxtor drive works in conjunction with Retrospect to create/run Duplicate scripts, rather then Backup scripts. The first duplicate will write all the files to your destination and subsequent operations will over-write/add changed and new files. What specifially isn't working in your configuration?
