ib3 Posted January 1, 2003 Report Share Posted January 1, 2003 I have "Dantz Retrospect Backup Professional Edition, ver 6.0.206" How can I compare files in the backup set with the files on my hard disk after few days of backing up the files? I know that the software can compare the files directly after the backup process, but my question is how to run this compare at a later time? sowen222 Posted January 2, 2003 Report Share Posted January 2, 2003 As far as I know, Retrospect doesn't have this option. My backup died during a compare. It's probably fine, but the only way to know 'for sure' is to re-run the backup (six hours. :-(). 'Verify Media' only checks if it's readable, not if the data is the same.
