dmgraham
I have scoured the archives and searched the Dantz site. It appears that the new version of Retrospect includes an Outlook agent that can quit and relaunch Outlook so that the database can be backed-up. I also found a reference to an script for older versions which would do the same thing. However, I've not found any information about whether or not this is possible if you are running the backup server on a Mac. Is this a PC (server) only feature, or can I successfully back up my Outlook PC users from my Mac backup server? TIA, Dave
AmyJ
The is a feature on the PC product and not currently available for the Macintosh product. If backing up a PC client from the Macintosh, users will need to close Outlook for proper backup.
