I am backing up my Mac desktop G4 533, OS X.1.5 with 1.1 gig memory to the internal CDRW listed below: device revision 1A17 Product Identification CD-RW CW-7586 Vendor Identification MATSHITA. I get the Error 205, most of the time, but on occasion the program does close out one CDR and then moves to the next one; however, when I go to check the closed out CDR, I get a disk unreadable.The next one ends up by closing with a Error 205 or finishing at which time is is a forced quit and maybe a restart. How do I recatalogue the unreadable CDR. I am using version 5.0.238. As of today I just let it forget backup CD 6 and 10. I need ideas as this program has never been able to properly close a CD. AmyJ Posted December 26, 2002 Report Share Posted December 26, 2002 What brand of media are you using? Many CD burners are picky in regards to the media being used.
