not enough disk space

Hello - Can I do a back of my C drive to my Buslink external HD and just not back-up certain things? Would it then still be a complete backup ( including registry ) ?

I tried and was told not enough disk space - I am running WinMe ( fat 32 ).

However, I have 14G in MP3's - could I back them up separately ???

If I did not include them in the complete backup, I believe I would have enough space...

I will greatly appreciate help - Thank You

The only way, with Express, to exclude files is to unmark them in the Preview window while setting up an Immediate Backup.

Set Source (c:) and Destination, then use the Preview button to uncheck the files/folders you don't wish to backup.

Keep in mind that the Preview window will always generate a new live picture of the source. You'd need to manually exclude this directory each time you do a backup - it will not work for automated backups. Saving manual file selections in this manner is a feature of the Professional and higher versions.

Providing the MP3's are in the same directory (s) you can make a subvolume of the music directory and do a Duplicate to a new folder on your destination drive.
