Dfloyd
Hi all, I'm attempting to eval retrospect pro, but when it goes to device configuration the system reboots. W2k Pro SP3, Retrospect 6.0, Onstream DI30 tape (Firmware rev 1.09) Any ideas??
AmyJ
Do you have any USB card readers (Smart Card reader) attached? If so, please shut down, unplug and reboot. Many USB card readers are incompatible with Retrospect. If you don't have a card reader, try unhooking any other peripherals - does the computer reboot on device scan? If no, plug in devices one by one to find the conflict.
Dfloyd
Thanks AmyC that turns out to be the issue. Are there any plans in the works to deal with this? These USB card readers will probably be pretty popular in the future. BTW Other than that issue the product works great.
