Saimunl
i'm terribly nervous that i do not have the correct file being backed up. it's my microsoft user data that contains all my emails. i backed up what i believe to be the right file, but when i look for a specific attachment on an email, i can't see it. someone's computer is the same where i cannot find a specific file. on her computer i have checked to see that there is only one microsoft user data file, but still i cannot see this one file. she has already lost over a months worth of email when the system crashed and i can't afford to have this happen again. right now the directory is as follows: harddrive --> users --> simon --> documents --> microsoft user data please help! simon
AmyJ
You may want to check the Microsoft site / Knowledgebase for specific information as to where all the files are stored. Selectively backing up files, rather then the entire machine, can be tricky business if you're not positive you're backing up the _correct_ files.
