ericmurphy
I have a G4 running OS X 10.2.2, and I have Retrospect Desktop installed on it. I have another OS X machine (a G3 iMac) running Retrospect desktop on it as well. Both machines back up to their local CD-RW drives. I would also like the other machine to be able to back up itself and my G4 to tape. I've installed Retrospect Client on the G4, but the process pitond, which I imagine is the Client process, keeps crashing whenever I turn on Retrospect Client. Is this due to an interaction between Retrospect Desktop and Client on the same machine? Is there a workaround that will allow me to have the G4 back up locally and to the iMac? You're using an out-of-date version of the OS X Client software. Update to the current (5.0.540) for compatibility with Jaguar. Dave
