I have Retrospect Express on my Windows 2000 machine and I've configured it to do a scripted backup where the destination backup set file resides on a Linux machine running Samba. The backup set has SimpleCrypt enabled, and its properties, "password saved for scripted access". I've set "Automatic Login" for that backup set to a username and password that gives write access to the destination directory on the Linux machine.
