Error 939589625 when starting manual full backup

Hello,

 

 

 

I get the following error 939589625 when I start a manual full backup of my exchange 5.5 database on a Small Business Server 4.5 with SP6 and Exchange SP4.

 

The Exchange Information store is not willing to start because of error 4294965485.

 

I believe this is the cause of the backup error.

 

I looked up the error on MS technet website but that did not help much.

 

Is it possible to do a backup without the information store or is this neccesary for the agent to succeed ?

 

 

 

Any other suggestions are welcome !

Thanks for your reply, I allready solved the problem.

 

The Information store is running again and backups are working.

 

 

 

Except for a full restore of a Small Business Server 4.5.

 

 

 

When I use a disaster recovery CD created by the retrospect software it crashes the setup as soon the setup initialises the GUI based portion of the setup.

 

There is something wrong with the VGA driver (wich is the default WinNT 4.0 Driver).

 

I'm still trying to figure out what it is.

 

 

 

For now I'm using 2 servers one with a ghost image copy of the running original.

 

So when the original crashes I only need to restore a backup with the exchange 5.5 databases. Wich I have tested and works perfectly.
