tsarch
I have just installed Retrospect 5.0 Express for Macintosh, running in OS 9.2.2. I was hoping it would wake my computer from sleep, backup, quit, and go back to sleep. I have searched the forum and the users guide unsucessfully for information on this topic. I found the don't throw out your energy control panel discussion, but haven't found any specific guidance on this issue. In the meantime, in the energy saver control panel, I have scheduled my computer to wake up 5 min. before backup and I am assuming it will stay awake as long as Retrospect is running the backup to an internal, SCSI hard drive. I would appreciate any advice or being directed to any past discussion on this topic.
