Huw_1
Just supposing you'd recorded something on a CD with Express and ... just supposing ........ you hadn't marked down what was on that CD. Not that I would do anything so silly!!!!!! How would you find out what was on the CD? Putting the CD in your CD ROM drive doesn't get you anywhere, and even when it's in the CD Writer there doesn't seem to be a way via Express to actually see what's on it. Just a hypothetical question of course!!!
AmyJ
Retrospect does not finalize the CD in such as way that allows Windows Explorer to access them. To see the contents of your backup set, you can go to Configure > Backup Sets. Get properties on the set for the CD and you can look at snapshots and sessions. If you don't know which set a CD belongs to, go to Configure > Devices for the CD name. The CD will be named after the backup set. For example, members of Backup Set A will be called 1-Backup Set A, 2-Backup Set A, etc. If you no longer have a backup set catalog available for your CD's, you can recreate the catalog from scratch under Tools > Repair > Recreate from CD
