bernieh
I'm running Express 5 on Windows NT backing up a single server on DAT. Whenever the tape is full it always asks for a new tape and gives it a name. This morning reading the logs for the nights' backup, I came across this message: execution incomplete can't add that much data to backup set (limited to 1,000.0 G) I ran the script manually and got the same message. The tape shows approximately 3 1/2 gigabytes left. I've been backing up for over 2 years and have never seen this message. Any help is appreciated. AmyJ
If your backup set has grown to a terabyte in size, you will need to start a new backup set. Backup sets with 5.6 and earlier were limited to a terabyte in size. Our current release, Retrospect 6.0 does not have this limitation. If you do not have a terabyte of information in your backup set and are seeing this message, your backup set catalog is corrupt. You can try rebuilding it under Tools > Repair.
