reuser
I'm using RE5.5 on Windows 2000. When I attempt a backup to CD-R by starting RE and then inserting a blank when directed, RE writes for a few seconds and then produces an error 100. I suspect what is happening is that when I insert the CD-R, the Adaptec CD Creator control panel starts up and interferes with RE. If I put in a CD-R before starting RE, I get the CD Creator panel. If I close that and then start RE, it writes the whole first CD correctly, and then gives me an error 100 when starting to write the second CD. How can I fix this? Is there a way to keep CD Creator from starting up automatically?
