AmyJ Posted October 14, 2002 Report Share Posted October 14, 2002 Yes, this method is supported using Retrospect 5.6 or higher. The CD is essentially a tool to boot your computer and start a restore wizard. When prompted during DR you will direct Retrospect to your external hard drive in order to access the file backup set. I have been using Backup MyPC and it doesn't support disaster recovery with a hard drive, so I will spend some time now getting up to speed with Retrospect.
